hi all...
i m using logic 4.8x (win2k) and a waves goldbundle 3.0 plugin set.
unfortunatly the automation won t work...is this problem solved in logic 5 and/or cubase sx ?
(...or is it already possible in logic 4.8x and i m too stupid...? )

you using dx plugins? and want automation?
only waves 3.5 has vst ver so you can automate those with all the sequencer progz you like..
no matter cubase5/sx/logic/etc |

use logic 5 for rock solid automation, no midi lagging. and use the vst versions for the automation to function, dx doesn´t work |

i ll get logic 5.x next week ;-)=
about logic: the difference between logic 5.0 and 5.1 is, that 5.1 is controlable with the "xt-controllers", am i right ?
but reaktor isn t controlable too, anybody know when it will be ? |

as far as i know reaktor is controllable in logic via midi
all the buttons can learn midicontrollers so there should be no problem. reaktor conforms to the vst standard when used as such, and if you have the luxury of owning the logic remote you can control parameters with that too using logic´s automation, which offers much better resolution and demand more from your wallet and cpu. alas everything has it´s price, but have a good one with logic, it´s definately the one for me. |
