hi all of you..
im new here, and i have this question cause i saw u ppl know how to work with cubase..
so it is like that so every time i import an audio file in lower than 44.1khz compression the wave plays like 17 times higher than the real speed or for example if i put a 96.6khz file it plays it 4 times slower...
i wanted to ask if you ppl can hep me solve this or can show me how to change the compression
of waves..
i hope i was clear enough
thanks

it depends on how much khz youre working in your cubase file.lets say youre working with 44000.
open sound forge or wavelab and click on the resampleoption then change it to the sample rate youre working with

or you can take this Wav file and export it on the Khz(S.R) you want with almost every music program there is.
for example : open FruityLoops import the Wav file ,make an Export without changing nothing, and there you have the same wav but in dofferent S.R

S.R - Sample Rate

Why fruity?
I'm sure that Sound Forge (or WaveLab, whatever your sound editor is) can do it better.
Open Sound Forge: Process->Resample.
Resample the file to whatever frequency your song is, and you're ok.
