elllo i found that the sidechain works better in reverse. eg you would normaly have it route kick L and bass R, and C1 set to
L-R TRY R-L instead.
anyone done this? works like a charm .

when working with the stereo C1? i think this way you should not hear something if you change to R-L cause the bass should be panned at the right channel from start and the kick to send on the left channel of the C1 and the group track being set in Stereo Dual Panning mode and set the right to the center again (so to hear the bass in the middle). i know this way for sidechaining bass+kick mono tracks on the stereo C1, you got me confused how do you do it exactly??

instead of l-r use r-l ,more control over the kicks dynamics

where do you send what, the original way this doesn't produce any effect           Monitoring devices, know where you go

So you're compressing the kick according to the bass, instead of the other way round? Interesting.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

So what happens to the sound of the kick when you stop the bassline?           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

?? Ambiguous... please explain. Which fader? If the bassline is compressing the kick, the level of the kick should increase when the bassline stops.          Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

That's probably because when you turn the bassline fader down, the level of the bassline going to the compressor goes down too, and stops compressing the kick. What happens to the level of the kick when the bassline stops (and the bassline fader is turned up!)

I don't think you fully understand what's going on with this setup.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Mate I was just trying to help you understand what was going on with it the way you have it set up. I can see though that you're not actually interested in learning about what you're doing so I'll just stop trying to help you out, ok?           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

this idea sound little crazy to me,a bassline is trigger for kick,like coolin sad ,kick should go up when bassline is off.so that method don`t have any sense..

a man i just trying to give you a advice..but...

anyway,your choice,good luck with that experiment..
