after installing waves plugins, and running sx, nothing of their effects work...
do you have any idea why this happens? or waves bundles don't work yet on vista.
((unfortunately i can't install xp back coz its a new laptop that doesn't support xp).
thanks alot

no dude, that's not strange, that's pissing off...coz HP company and other laptops manufactures companies are supplying their new laptops with Sata Hard Drive. and windows XP doesn't have drivers for that Hard drive, then you need to download the driver from Intel website or others, it's called "Raid F6". but then you need to copy that driver to a floppy disk coz XP setup will look in floppy A for driver. and new laptops has no floppy A. and the USB Floppy a is not good for this setup...bla bla bla... briefly, iam stuck with this ugly vista and many pc technican dont have solution.
hopefully someone here has any idea what to do...

To install XP on a laptop, you must use "Nlite", a program to create your own unnatended setup.
Extract the files From the Matrix storage manager (intel Sata drivers) as shown in its "readme"(or DL the zipped files version).
After that, copy the contents of your XP cd on your computer, launch Nlite, and follow the guideline to add drivers to your Xp install.
Then, Nlite will recompil the cd and you just have to burn it afterward.
You now have a Win XP install cd, which will automatically install SATA/RAID drivers upon install... |
