Hi
Im thinking of start using Wavelab 4.0.
Is there anyone here who knows it good.?
I could use some help in it..

near the master section you can select the effect
section, in there you have blank spaces for vst-effects and instrument
click on the black space in each effect space and choose vst then you have a list of instruments and effects...
(i use wavelab 4.00)
p.s.
why would someone want to load a VSTi into wavelab?

actually properly wavelab doesn't find instruments only fx. Setfan if you think so, it's not a sequencer it's an audio editor.

it finds instruments actually, and opens it..
but how can you play on them?
don't get this......
vst effect work tho

You can't play VSTi on wavelab - it's not a sequencer as prosect said.

YAT udpate your WaveLab and see that it not oppens them, it recognize them as VSTi so it adds only VST.

Hey setfan,
This is WaveLab not MidiLab,
Wavelab purpose is to cut, edit and effect a audio files(.wav, .aiff, mp3 etc) - this is not a sequencer,
The vst you meant are a directx(DX) plugins and not a vst-instruments,

whats wrong with cubase?
logic is an option as well, but not for beginners imho!
you can start with fruityloops, although i never tried it and i can't recommend about it
the experts here will have answers for you

yes u can, just choose your vst folder in fruity
