Wave c1 sc bass compressor

hi there, ive been using this plugin on a mix bus with kick and bass, along with Urs console strip with xeon limiter, just wondered if the below link sounds like it has to much compression or to little, i used c1 sc to elminate any subs.

I think the bass is panned too wide... and I think there is still to many bass frequencies flying around. Too much mud... As for compression, you don't really need to compress anything until your trying to fit it into the mix. |

Remove bus compression -> concentrate to clean up the sounds and finish the song. all you need is just EQ and your ears, then make it groovy! maybe some compression for peaks before EQ, 2:1,long attack/release for protect transients - not nessecary. bus compression is the last thing to do and different story
