Things are rather well in my life right now. I can't remember the last time I had such a clear mind to focus on music, but its all happening for me right now.
Our second album got released a couple of weeks ago and its almost like 6k downloads + getting great feedback from people from far and wide across the globe, giving stuff and expecting nothing in return, never felt so great.
Got a new missus, she is wonderful, smart, funny, drop dead gorgeous and most importantly a great cook that enjoys watching me devour everything she makes  and she is like 8 years younger than me 
Signed up with the gym again and severely cut down on alcohol, in an attempt to save what is left of my liver and heart. I'm only 33 but have been caning it from a really young age.
Had a serious operation on my dog Fotis, that had a broken diaphragm (probably got run over by a var before I found him, 6 months ago) and his bowels and liver had squeezed around his lungs and chest bones, but my boy pulled through just fine and is getting chubby and is well happy now, he won't even let me take a piss alone in the toilet
Other than that, I'm grateful to have everything I need and more, studio to make music, people I love and love me around, a job I enjoy and pays the bills, a new house I really like and sunny days to hang out in the park with my boy Fotis.

I feel your pain, i have 5 cats here at the moment, 4 kiddies and they are driving me insane! Feels like i live in a fuckin Zoo.
I actually considered buying Ocelots new album as a reminder of this period.
