I got some problems with my computer heat that affects all of my computers proper work , i heard there is a better way than fans to reduce the heat - water cooler

Does anybody know if it's good and where i can get it in israel or trough airmail (if not from israel?
Is there any quiet water cooler built especially for DAW computers?

Thanks in advance

...i wouldn t take water-cooling...expensive, n dangerous for the pc if it doens t work properly

-what for cpu n how many hd s you ve got ?
-how many fans ? ( inkl. psu-fan )
-what is your room-temperature ?

if u got smt similar to this, maybe it s defect...

hey medi
I got P4 2Ghz with two HDD's
All i got is two lousy fans , one on the CPU an the other on the back of my tower.
my room temp' go 30 C' and up in a hot day
When i turn on my A/C the computer works well but i can't leave it working all the time.

do you recommend i put more fans instead of dealing with water cooler???

Water coolers are now very safe to use, by all accounts. The Zalman one is probably amongst the best you can buy, and is pretty good value for what it does, I reckon. Don't forget, it is SILENT.

QuietPC also do some good quiet PSUs too; I recently bought an acoustically designed case, Zalman CPU fan and Ultra-quiet PSU, and I'm very pleased with the result.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

with your configuration/T-room i m shure it s possible to get just good fans.

about wc, maybe new ones are saver...but even the safest seals can have a leak...n if your fan got s a "leak" your mobo shuts it down...n the price is muchos too...

colin, about silence; which hd's/case your ve got ? -cause at my box the hd is defenetly the noisemaker
i ve chkd wd 160gb/8mb n maxtor 130 gb/8mb.

I've got 3 HDDs: one Fujitsu, one Western Digital and one Seagate Barracuda. Can't remember specifics now, but the PSU is still the loudest component in my system by far, even with my QTechnology Ultra-Quiet ATX PSU 350W (120mm fan).
The case is this one:
