You need a permit / license to broadcast from the assigned authority ... It's easier if these existing radio channels shift focus from the masala mixes and worldly gossip to Full On .. Full Power .. Psychedelic Music ...  Also, some deep reflecting chill out to turn down the heat

I dont think any of the existing Radio channels will ever air psy and i hope they dont.. But i still dream of an underground exclusive channel playing underground genres of Music!

i heard some good music not so long ago on our national radio channel@102.6.....the rj supposedly was building sumthin up to promote electronica but i guess nothin worked out and the entire concept just vanished........mayb if v cud convince/request one of the rjs on various channels to start playin electronica mayb v can have a good time....if it can b played on 102.6 y not on any other channels......

104.8 Meow Fm kolkata plays edm/psy everynite after 12 or 1am i think. the only channel in kolkata that plays trance...that too ..uninterrupted! |

We get 2 hours of psychedelic progressive, full on and chillout on Kolkata FM (Meow 104.8) ... 2-4 AM
Imagine turning on the radio to hear Carbon Based Lifeforms... shock to da system  Hope they keep it going.
