I will leave the Kiddie porn up to you Kerosene club......
Anyway it's a tad ironic that somebody totally independent of me had the same thing happen to him (obviously by the same people) at the same time and the only international transaction that we made was to Saikosounds...
I suppose you can draw your own conclusions.
Anyway the card is now history, I don't think I will be doing any online transactions soon. |

The 'PCI Compliance' is the most serious security standard for the e-commerce sites that hold credit cards data. Without it, a shop won't be able to work in front of credit cards company, paypal and other interfaces. One of its requirements is a total encryption of the whole data while all keys and accesses belong to different people. So no single person in company may steal anything. Access to the servers also has to be compliant with PCI which means for example that ISP has cameras, guest logs and special cage for that. From the company side (saikosounds) they make sure they have immediate alert on any small change happening on the server (using audit tools). Also they have to backup every single piece of log to remote and secured computer for a later review.
I can tell you some more about PCI, but the main point here is that there is no chance in the world the data from their servers could somehow leak outside.

And in the end, do you have to pay the whole bill charged to your credit card or?
Personally, I am using only virtuon cards for e-commerce...

Paypal is safe. And if you do a cash transfer or eCheque you:
A) don't have to worry about credit card fees or interest
B) have 0.000001% concern over fraud.
Saikosounds are 100% trustworthy and safe, and until I see an official document on here from a fraud investigation otherwise, I reckon this thread should be locked to stop any more rumor mongering!
I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy! |

I seriously doubt that Saikosounds has anything to do with this fraud case and this topic is tottally unfair for them in my humble opinion.
Dear bearpill i really believe that all that you said is true BUT i got to inform you that someone can steal your credit card details even if you have never ever used your credit card either online or in the traditional way.It happened with Citibank some time ago when a hacker stole hundrends of credit card numbers and infos from the bank database and the bank had to cancel all of them.
I think that this topic has to be locked and deleted until Bearpill or anyone else interested/involved has some official info about the case and can come up with accurate facts and not just assumptions.
I mean if Saikosounds has nothing to do with this credit card fraud then their image will be hurt for no reason at all which is very unfair for these people who serve the trance community for many many years.

I agree with DETOX, and will probably lock the topic.
Please contact your bank, cancel your cards and ask them to provide all kind of info they possible can about this.
Please contact me if you have more relevant info on this subject.
