YOUR MUSIC AND VIDEOS WANTED FOR NEW INDEPENDENT MUSIC TELEVISION CHANNEL
Independent artists, this is for you...
About a year and a half ago, I was chosen to be a host on a new music video television show to air nationally. The show, 'Your Music Network, the independent experience', gave independent artists and labels a platform for their music; a platform that featured your music videos and sold your CDs worldwide.
On July 3rd 2004 the first weekly one hour show aired, mms://66.10.35.205/ymnmedia/ymnie_mini_media/YMNie_101.wmv. The response was so overwhelming that we are in the process of launching our own television 24/7 broadcast network dedicated entirely to the independent artist, label and lifestyle! The channel will feature all genres of music videos in a format similar to MTV, VH1 and BET. Now that you know who we are, here's what I want from you. I WANT YOUR MUSIC! Videos, CDs, DVDs... I want it all. We want everyone to hear your music.
Now for the most exciting part for me, I will be working with Osiris Indriya, http://www.osirisindriya.com, on a show called Pulsoniq. Pulsoniq is a dance club/festival within a television show. Showcasing the best independent electronic music, Pulsoniq will create a dance community by mirroring many of the elements that have been successfully employed by promoters, club owners, festival sponsors and parties everywhere.
Airing 7 days a week, Pulsoniq will showcase a different genre of electronic music each day. Hip Hop, Breaks, Progressive, Drum 'n' Bass, World Beats, House, Downtempo, Techno... Pulsoniq will play it all. But in order to do it, we need you, the independent musician and label, to send in your material.
If you are an artist or know an artist, have them send their music in for the show and website. Submission information can be found at http://www.yourmusicnetwork.net/ForArtists.aspx (The website right now is only for submissions, it will launch with the show). Submit your video to be aired on Pulsoniq and CDs for distribution. That way when people see your video on TV they know exactly how to get it. Don't forget to add "ATTN: Pulsoniq" to your packages.

DJs: If you'd like be a guest DJ on the show, send us your best mix. Please include a full track listing, including the artist, title, label, and genre with your submissions. All labels must be independent in order to be considered for the show.
NOTE: An independent record label is a record label operating without the funding of one of the "major" record labels, which are generally defined as the handful of media corporations which have recently dominated the recorded music industry in the west.
