its freakin SUMMER outside, it cant get better then this, but still no response out of psytribe/greensector.
i guess all the naging didnt help
not cool guys very uncool!!!
sorry but i realy dont understand why, any answers...???

Here's my 2 cents
1.A full effort at having an outdoor party was made last week at everyones request, so no one can say that there has been "no response". 
2.The ranch requires insurance, porta potties, and security at a minimum.  It's not the right place to have a quickie.
3.It's supposed to start raining tomorrow night. It could show up ealier. 
4.Check out Psyfix on Wednesdays. We know it's not outdoors but it won't get rained out and you can still get your dance on...

amen, does anybody else have $2-3000 to throw an event there? then count your blessings that green sector and psytribe even fucking bothers to throw these events, especially when people bitch that there is no party. I hear people offering decks and dj services, but not one person offered to donate any money to help get the ball rolling.
It takes at least a month to organize an event there because of the amount of preparation it takes to secure artists, sound(N23 is the best, they're not always available as a result), deco, and people to work the party setting up and collecting tickets. don't forget you need volunteers to pick up all of your goddamn dust-off canisters that everybody likes to inhale at the ranch. its sad that people can't even bother to get real nitrous cartridges.
how rude to even start a thread like this, be patient and thankful that organizers put their all into these events throughout the summer. winter time is hard to throw outdoors because of the inconsistent weather. make you're own party at your house, invite some friends over, and camp out in your backyard or take a boombox to the mojave with a close group of friends.
oh yeah btw-how much rain did we get last saturday night?

Rude is an interpretation and highly doubt was the intention of this thread. It is a good opportunity to educate on what it takes to manifest these gatherings.
@Hidroponik, with respect - Please measure your words before making general statements about "dust-off canisters that everybody likes to inhale at the ranch". Personally I don't partcipate in that activity and neither do most of the trancers that frequent the ranch. Unfortunately it only takes a handful of inconsiderate people to make a big mess.

Trash is a problem, but its not the reason i have a problem with cans on the floor. Any of those guys heard of low pro. Probably the same guys who get so plastered and grab every beautiful trancedancing girl around.
Look,I'm not much for rules either, but i try to respect peoples emotions(or emotional states) and boundaries. Most other shit will just fall into place. Oh,and as for what this topic was originally about, shit doesnt always work out. It rained, they moved it indoors,we partied,(i got sick and left early). Psytribe had vegas that next week, and greensector is gearing up for April.
I am having Ear Surgery in the middle of this month so i will be out for at least 6 weeks!!! The next event for me will hopefully be the Xara Festival. I wish you all the best.

i do agree that i came off a bit harsh, but this scene has been going through many cultural changes and a lot of these changes are NOT for the best interest of the community.
especially the dust-off cans, i think i picked up about 40 or 50 of them at the halloween party, and there were many more left ON THE DAMN GROUND.
if people need that 10 second buzz, hire somebody to pick up a 6-foot tall nitrous tank and sell baloons. at least that doesn't have Freon in it that will cause heart failure.
I know this from experience because i almost lost one of my close friends 10 years ago. he blasted almost a whole can in one shot and had cardiac arrest. he was in a coma for 3 days. this is a very personal matter to me and i do not want the ambulance to have to come to the ranch.
at least the abusers could find one of the 20 trash cans around the party, and i did not point anybody out in specific that i noticed because its not necessary.
but when there are 500 people there and a hundred or so cans on the ground, you have to admit that a huge percentage of the attendees are killing themselves.
We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

i i just hope that the LA scene does get like in hometown gudalajara, mexico...........
i mean there's ppl that even doesnt like the music they just wanna get really fucked up..................
they dont apreciate the event or the music, they dont even know WHO da heck is playing but they're extremly fucked.
and when the sunrise comes they just leave  without knowing that the better part of the party is coming MORNING TUNES!!!!

i just hope THE magic LA scene never turns into another bad trip like in my hometown
