I'm a musician and video artist spending July in San Francisco. I'll be bringing out some gear and hope to do alot of writing while I'm out there. Anybody in the bay are up for some improv/collaboration? I live in Miami, lecture in UM's music engineering program and I'm finishing my MFA in video art. I've been producing music for 15 years - mainly game and commercial/film stuff. I've been into psytrance since the late 90's and just keep falling in deeper and deeper :) Anyway, I want to start making some heady/hardcore psy-tracks. I put some stuff up on myspace:

It's a bit old and not exactly hardcore, almost prog-housey, but it is what it is and you can get an idea of my skills etc.
Stylistically, I'm thinking shiva chandra, lemurians, skazi, younger brother, cosmosis, process, gnome effect - you get my drift.
Anyboy out there interested?
Anybody, from SF heading to PhoenixFest?
Any tips on the SF psytrance scene would also be aprreciated...

thanks for listening Nomolos.
I do like alot of genres/periods, but nothing beats 3 straight days of dancing to psytrance in a nice outdoor environment 
yeah, I don't really know how to classify my music, maybe I can say "retro goa trance" for now?
I'm working on breaking the repitition in my stuff and getting it a bit harder. I think I have "masterpiece syndrome", it just never seems good enough. I hope to be productive this month and will update the myspace stuff soon. When I get back to Miami I'm going to kick it into high gear as far as a live set is concerned.
