I want to take an oppurtunity and ask the community about this little desktop. Im sure many will say, save the money get a virus later. But today i was in 3 diffrent musicstores and i asked all of them their opinions about this synth. As the salesmen they are i only got great feedback and this n that. You know how it is...
Now is there anyone here who isnt actually trying to sell one to me who can give me some objective opinions about it?

I should perhaps state that i will mostly use it (if i get one of course) to make downbeat but also progressive tunes. Diversity is perhaps what i am looking for.

I got both a Ti polar and a blofeld. These two complement each other beautifully. What I love about the blofeld is it raw sound. Its a pleasure to tweak.. In fact this little fella has an amazing lcd screen . its very clever and sounds awsome.
there is a few draw back though first off its got only one stereo output so in fact you're going to have to bounce if you really want to use many sound part in your project, not really my cup of tea to have Many parts in one stereo channel.
At the moment the blofeld bugs with logic.The sound change sometimes. I talked to support, they are aware of it and they are working on a firmware update to sort this out. You have to restart the blofeld to get back to your sound. but this does not occur when used on its own.
Thats said I love it I use it a lot. to me its a must have. |
