Are you talking from experiance ? or just throwing lines at the air like " these good and these sucks .. "
The Blofeld is a massive synth, early OS were problematic, but as most of new lines of digital synthesizers, those things are repaired with time and they get more stable.
Presonaly, Ive used both synths.
I would take the little Blofeld anyday over the TI.
Why ? becouse the Blofeld sound uniqe and have an edge to his sound that not many VA synths have today. Waldorf dident try to emulate none with the Blofeld, they have created a little monster.
The Virus to me is the same Virus boaring digital sound presets full with cheap Reverb/delay effects that makes you think its big.
i bet you brobobly one of those people who judge synths by they base price, if the blofeld would come up as a full 5 octave version with $2499 base price, you would talk different.
the Blofeld is a big hit in the market today and they sell quick, thats the reason Waldorf decited to release the KB version.
Success.
irus came out with the Snow edition to attract more users to that Virus line.

I think they both good but dude come on the keyboard version is a total fuckn ripoff , they didnt evn add more knobs, and for 600 dollars more for a keybed and some lil extras, it doesnt justified the 600 more mark-up,
personally the virus and waldorf are great synths and both have their character but that move of the blofeld keyboard was rather lame in my opinion my homeboy got the tabletop version and even he agreed that the board was lame, its pointless for the dat u get the tabletop and some other midi controller, my honest opinion which im entitled to,
i like both companies stuff, waldorf osc obviously are
of more quality, but dont go knocken the virus efx
the phaser and the delays are fuckn radikal, and besides we've know already about the virus flaws such as alliasing on the high registers, and using efx to fatten up the sound its a synth with a processed sound not that it means it sux, because is capable of some great sounds, it is what is 
two great tools in the studio, lets not fight over opinions cus we are alll entitled to them, best regards guys |
