As in subject. Is Waldrof Blofeld can be used for psytrance? And it can be work with ableton (instead of midi keyboard) |

sure the sound is matter of taste, but nearly all one shots, samples, lead shots etc. done with my beloved blofeld =D
but maybe kind of more interesting, like what that machine offers for this "small" money. compared to others it´s just stunning and i like waldorf sound, wavtable stuff and the modulation and fm possibilities of this small goody.
BUT these damn suckers want another 100 bucks now for something already included in my blofeld just need to get switched on, this is ridiculous 
anyways, thinking about getting the upgrade, this will get this small great machine to an absolute beasty synth for this price.

One more question:
Does blofeld can receive midi signals (like from keyboard) by USB cable? Or only by MIDI port?
For example: I want make some pattern in ableton live 8 and I want to send this midi data to blofeld. I don't want to use an extra keyboard |

that´s what the usb port is for  it doesn´t transport audio like a virus, but sure it does midi.
in ableton you can choose the external instrument and send midi directly to the blofeld without the need for keys
cheers.
ps: @ makus: yepp, i mean license sl and found no crack so far, please anyone finding it come back and pm me the link . no joke, i´m really pissed on this issue.....

The largo is an inexpensive VST..about 249.00 us...Nice sounds
