people...i moved to florida (outside miami) about two weeks ago and am working so i can go to india...
i just came from israel and didn't miss a party for the past few month's. now i'm literally going crazy! all i have is the music i brought from home (which is alot), but i need to party and to "eat" something aswell!!!
can anyone tell me how i find out about psytrance party's and get in to the whole scene around here while i make my cash to go to heaven. i really am starting to go crazy! |

Well, I can tell you that there arent THAT MUCH events going on here...
But whenever there is something going on.. It's supposed to be a blast...
Keep your eyes open for postings on Isratrance (North America)
Count on the organizers - they'll post info whenever something is going on...
It seems like there wont be anything going on for New Years  - thats too bad.. But it's OK!
Anyway .. just keep your eyes open ....

Hi guys,
I go over to UM. I would've tried to attend some of the gatherings or whatever place they play psytrance, but I have one itty-bitty problem(in addition to my school work). I have no transportation!
It's also a real bitch to get people to give you rides from school. Therefore, I stopped asking and try to get around the best way I can. But events like that luminoics(forgot spelling), that is wayyy out of my league because that's all the way in ft. lauderdale.
I was even considering flying all the way to dallas to see Infected LIVE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE(Also my very first trance event). I was going to meet someone from the yahoo groups there, but something came up at my stupid college, and I cannot go now. I tried to get out of it, but I can't.
I COULD BEAT THOSE PEOPLE DOWN WITH AN IRON FIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I.M. is my psychadelic god. I worship the ground they walk on when it comes to trance, and when stuff like this happens, It literally makes you mad as hell.
I also got this guy I know into psy music, and I asked him if he wanted to go over to club space because I heard they play trance music there. His response was "Oh no!, They do drugs there. I'm not going there". WTF!!!!????, they do drugs at just about all friggin nightclubs. It turns out that he goes out with his cousin to nightclubs who consequently sells fucking drugs(his roomate told me this). He only wants to hang with his rich friend. WELL LA-DE-FUCKING-DA. SO MUCH FOR FRIENDS.
I got one thing to say:
I want the real fucking experience. I want to see groups like psysex, I.M., Astrix, GMS, spacecat, and SUB6 perform live. I'm not a wild person nor do I do any type of drugs(I can't even dance), but fuck, I want to experience the real fucking deal. I have one more year of college, and after that I'll be a fucking desk hermit for the rest of my life married to some foreign girl never experiencing shit. The 20 yr. old years are only so long.
I'm tempted to apply for a job not even in this country because I want to see some shit.
Well, I think I did enough bitiching for one day. L8r guys. |

First of all - cheer up man!
I'm gonna backup cubensis's words ... "No one says you have to end your life after the 20s ... " - Very true ..
I'm assuming you are between the age of 19-20 .. Alright .. now your in school, and once that's done, (Oh NO!  ) you gotta start working ! (Paying off all those lones .. bla bla ...)
Well - Dude ! it doesnt really need to be that way ...
Just live your life man! Do whatever you think is fun (doesnt matter if your 19 or 91 ... ) - Have a little fun in life...
If you really want to experience the psytrance/Goa events - Just wait till you finish school, or get a break .. And head towards Europe to one of the MANY festivals going on there (Mostly summer-time ...) / Or on the other hand , if you find something abit closer (Like Mexico or something...)
Anyway ! - My point is that the global scene of Psytrance/Goa music is in constant progression - Don't worry man - Your gonna live to see Infected Mushroom, Astrix, GMS, spacecat, and - surprise! SUB6 aswell!

1. your head is completely screwed on wrong for a guy into psytrance!
there is no "i can't dance" in this scene. it's all about being yourself and not caring what others think.
2. i'm with everyone else here... life only beggin's after college (or the army if your from israel). now is the time to party and find what really interest's you in life. only society and worthless people do what others expect of them instead of fallowing their own interests and goal's.
3. you want psy/goa trance and all the drugs you can get? and you don't have too much money. work abit after college, make a quick 5000 and go to india. that kind of cash will last you about half a year there.

Yes, so true. Reminds me of a time before I ever went to a psy party. One night I went to a club, where Oliver Lieb was supposed to DJ. There was this guy there...he looked scraggly, and he had the weirdest dancing I had ever seen. There were a lot of young people there that night, and many of them were pointing and laughing. Didn't seem to affect hin.
Later on I discovered he was a psy-trancer! And he was dancing however he pleased, not adhereing to some stupid standard.
Anyway, I don't know where the hell I was going with that story, but you don't even have to "dance" if you don't want to. For sure no one will care how you dance, unless you keep bumping into them! |

to ad to what i was saying and others before me...
i used to go to clubs as a teenager in israel like every other kid. any israeli will tell you that the israeli's are a hard and mean croud when their young. i never danced, i felt as if i didn't stand up to the social standard of dancing, i'de be made fun of.
there hasn't been a single psytrance party i didn't dance until all the muscle's in my legs were not only acking but actually pulled and not allowing me to go on.
the first thing i was taught at a trance party is, enjoy the music and the atmosphere and alway's respect everyone around you no matter how weird they are or dance. and ofcorse, never care about the judgement of others passed at you.
that is how i am in my everyday life now...
that is why i love the scene so much and want to spread it to as many as i can.
btw: if say there was a big three day festival in israel featuring names like penta, xenomorph, shift, psychotic micro and others. would anyone of you show up? this is a serious question, go see in "israel" Katam's post on "how much would you pay". |

satlanny - I don't think a line-up like that would be missed for anything in the world ... Especially if It's a festival.. but - then again, other factors have to considered ...

well it's for real man. i am here in florida right now and not really doing to much about it. but my friend (listed here as Katam) is working on it. my father is backing us financialy and with help on all legal matters.
we're totally serious about it. it's about time israel had a real festival of it's on.
and if that one goes, expect a shit load of others. but only if the first one works out... |
