Im a graphic designer and I mainly do commercial design and marketing. I like playin around in photoshop and creating trippy art as well. I been designing for 3 years now and only recently i heard about Wacom tablets. Im not sure what the ups and downs are for this product.

ANy reviews will be helpful. If possible please provide links to some of your work created on Wacom Tablet.
Thank you

Hello phazed!
As I recently told you about Wacom tablets, I can tell you it's the best choice, since they have a wide range of products that will perfectly fit for your own need...
I think you will be happy with a Graphire tablet, as you only "play around" with photoshop as you said... But if you are into something more serious, I would recommend you to get a Intuos tablet, the shortcut buttons and sliders on them are very useful.
There's plenty of artwork made with digital tablets around the net... and actually not only made with Wacom products!
I recommend you to google a bit, you'll find a lot...
Looking forward to see your works           www.farboart.com

hey Phazed!

When talking bout Wacom...theres no downs, just Ups..
its the ultimate tool if you want to render digitaly.
and after some use you'll feel so clamsy when grabbing a mouse

i agree with Farbo that u can use a graphire to fool around, Of course purchasing an intuos will do for later , more serious use.
dont think bout it...

I used to have a small tablet and it came in extremely usefull for masking and selecting stuff, even while i'm not very good at drawing it's definatly an advantage over a mouse
