In House and Drum And Base, the predominant type of media used to play music are 12 inch records.
I've been to many psytrance parties as well and I don't see any vynils being played.
Why is this? Why are CD's used rather than 12 inch records?
Eliminate the computer as a source of sound for now. I only want to know...CD or Vynil? |

cds all the way buddy...
* vinyls are too big and clumsy to carry
* electronic music is digital...so, wouldn't a cd be apter? |

In psy-community everbody know each other, everybody passes cdR's of there tracks it's just easier, but there are vinyls too.

i thought of this first. but isn't house music digital as well? or psytrance sounds more electronic and house more organik?

that too. and remixes coming out every single day, it's impossible every single dancefloor track to be put on vynil.
