though i don't follow current football WC, this news didn't slip from me: Audionamics company found a way to remove the "constant droning or buzz which has been perceived by many as an unpleasant background noise."

I wonder what they actually did to get rid of the sound. I suspect a 180 degree phase differential recording (inverted) around the 230hz range...

i guess most here in germany will remove it theirself now. we´re OUT

im kinda glad this is over now. i already said yesterday to my neighbours that this would be the best case for most of us here (:D, guess how they went ,eheheee). but otherwise we´d have 4 years of trouble and wc hype after the wc if we´d won. dont talking bout my trouble if im for a smoke out to netherlands yeah and on the other side if we´d lost the final imo everything would be even more worse.

anyway, im no fan of this football hype. im really shocked some ppl are asking on a meeting point (5day/4 floors festival ) for a solution to watch the final while beeing on party. but no discussion bout that, many ppl like and love football. so its not that i damn it. i like to see how many sports brings ppl together from many countrys in the world. we had never such an situation during the last few hundred years that so many ppl from so many different countrys party and sweat and cry all together for germany (can only talk about situation here). while many germans here think/thought we´re split into so many cultures and loosing our own i swear i had goosebumbs when i saw these thousands of ppl all in wc fever for germany and all partied together. next to each other, no matter what.

on the other side im sad these ppl will nontheless go seperate ways again now after.... i got no tv for years and i know they sad similiar, but i was able to see this and i hope this is one step further to a country here where we all can live next to each other, respecting and hopefully come more together over here. hopefully many here will loose some of their islamophobia i.e. (which is a really hard issue here) and maybe some of these will even see the paranoia made behind our media here.

anyways, glad its quite now

have fun, cheers

I was at one of the games at the Cape Town stadium and the sound was not that bad. I could speak normally to the person next to me.

I wonder if the tv signal some how boosts the Vuvu ======<) PHHHOOAAARR           Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/themadpiper
