I was wondering how you guys bounce to audio a vsti track without freezing it, my vsti doesn't support this feature.
I would like to record everything that it is happening inside the sequencer, I can hear everything but I can't record to audio.
Just like the resampling feature in Live I believe...

Honestly dude - just do that every time. The freeze function is kind of a waste of time, it doesn't really save that much CPU and you can get more creative when messing with the bounced audio.

If you still might want to change something in the VSTi later, but need to save CPU power, just bounce the audio and turn off the VST - there's a "power" button next to the "Freeze" button snowflake.

no guys u didn't understand the question...
it must be live, it has to be recorded inside the audio track but it doesn't records for some reason.
After I recorded in the audio track I can bounce, 4 sure.
I am trying to record a vocoder effect inside cubase in the audio track.
I need a midi track, records fine, and then a audio track to record the vocoder effect.
I believe you have to set up the audio track(in) just like when u want to record a keyboard hardware but it doesn't show up the option to select and the TI is a vsti suppose to be easier....

Yeah I'm not sure exactly what you're saying.

You do know you need to bounce tracks with the TI in "real time", right? Click the "real time" checkbox on the "Save file as" dialog along with the audio quality stuff etc           http://soundcloud.com/aeon604
