I have a few VSTi's playing, and after some time they begin to sound really really distorted! What can be the cause and how to fix it?

Running Cubase VST 32 R6, AMD Duron 900, M-Audio Delta 66, Windows 98SE.

PS - anyone knows where can I find a manual for Waldorf Attack?

I've got the same problem in Reason. But my computer is much slower and e.g. 10 fxs work it starts confusing and distort the sound...
by the way, sometimes sounds nice ;)

i think u have a problem with latency but there is the cream u can put on it and rub it slowly in:)
but seriously try to tweak with asio driver settings..if this doesn't work try the first possibility:)
well ,when this happens to me,i go into the aps asio driver setting in cubase, and raise the latency and drop it again..and usually that solves the problem..try it:)

CPU (from VST Performance) is around 10-15 percent when it clips. I'll see if changing the latency helps.

All the time, at random times. But I think I solved it, latency at 26ms instead of 16ms.

If this problem not solve then you must put the s.card as far you you can from the m.card (on the motherboard)
