Tone2 launches Firebird, a fundamentally new and easy to use VST-format synthesizer with Harmonic Content Morphing synthesis.

Firebird is not just another synthesizer. It provides a powerful, unique, and innovative synthesis architecture for next-generation sounds never heard before. 300 build-in sounds, among others by Marco Scherer (Meller, AP Records), present a full range of useful workhorse studio standards as well as very special Firebird sounds characterized by multi-layered subtle modulations which add new life and dynamics to the sounds. Firebird can sound like many other virtual synthesizers but none of them can sound like Firebird can. Why?

Anyone else wanna try this demo and see if they like the timing on fast bass...apparently its a bug according to what Markus said over at KVR but I am not gonna buy it until 1.1 comes out if so...

Also getting CPU spikes when changing presets.

Other than that, it's pretty phenomenal.

Come on all you guys raving about Vanguard, this is the next VSTi synth effort of the same guy who made Vanguard, try it out and report back.

yes, it has a bug with timing. waiting for 1.1 also.
