I said Surge was my favourite synth.
It's not exactly true, since Z3ta, Vanguard, Discovery and Korg Legacy are great too!
But I don't see why many like Albino so much, I know it's easy to program and offers some nice modulations, but any of the above stated synths really sound much richer and warmer to me. |

albino alone doesn't sound very convincing, there are synths that have more bite to its sound.
but in a busy mix situation, I actually like how most of the time albinos sounds sit well with few tweaks.
I think it's funny how lots of people on different boards (not pointing my finger) dismiss specific synths because they sound weak and so on. in the past I made sound with free synths, only half as fat sounding as most of the vst you get today. an interesting adventure is to disable those heavy fx on your synth. what you get is the pure sound of the oscs and the diff modulation. about that what you get from any soft synth. 
now rebuild those fx, chorus, distortion, filters, phaser, delay, reverb and whatever you like with vst effects.
I'm sure after some treatment you get that fat sound from almost any source.

Favorite VST Synth : Vanguard
Favorite VST FX : I dont have any in particular but I wil give a try to all above mentioned but I like very much to use delays and reverbs,,can you recommend me the best for this ?
