What are your thoughts about all new vstsynths and effects?

I for one have decided to limit the amount of softsynth input. For quite some time it has been a lot of just testing new synths and realizing it doesn't help me at all.. more the opposite.

Do you find more inspiration and make better music from having all these new toys?

Its not that I find more inspiration from softsynths.

Its simply that by eliminating the 20 minute "go outside to garage, bring in flightcase and keyboard stand and leads bag, open flightcases, set up keyboards stands, set up synths, open leads bag, find right leads, un-knot leads, plug in leads" stage, my inspiration hasnt disappeared by the time I've got a synth ready to roll           http://www.dartrecordings.co.uk/
