I'm looking for a nice text to speech vst plugin.
Is there anything like this available?

i had some fun with this: http://groovekitten.co.uk/talkany

it's just for fun though, no vst, no record mode, gotta record it with some other software.

usually i record groups of words separately (also when i use the link above), because the speech flow does not always sound very naturally..           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

Has anyone tried Vocaloid?
Seems pretty nice and is probably very useful if you add lots of FX to the sound.

i have tried virsyn cantor vst! it is interesting, you can type the words uwant it to "sing" different voices (male and female) with abilty to change some expression settings. U can also tune each phrase with a midi note, using something very alike a midi editor or "piano roll". its kinda cool, but nothing like human real time singing, it keeps that synthy kinda feel, which can be cool, specially with some more effects processing!           www.soundcloud.com/elektroakustica/sets/downtempo/

Would be nice if the programs coud translate longer text´s.THen you could make your own audiobooks to put in your mp3 player.
