I use cubase sx 2.0 and i would like to know what is vst system link and how can i use it.
i like too use my two pc (a desktop and a laptop) im my audiophile firewire. the only problem is that only the desktop has firewire the laptop just have usb.
someone says that i can use the 2 computers to work together.
someone can help?

You need SP-DIF ports in your audiocards to be able to use S-Link. If you have them, then you have a super audio system.. |

could you be more especific.
i have a desk pc with firewire port and a m-audio audiophile firewire that has two SPDIF connectors, and a laptop pc with usb port and m-audio quattro usb that have two SPDIF connectors too (in and out).
how can i link them both?
i use cubase to configure it?
any information is valid thanks to all!
i really need help!

Wire the s/pdif ins to outs of your soundcards and then check in the sx manual on how to setup the software. its all there and very easy to understand!!
