do you guys know of any other synth that allows spatial positioning of the sounds, it might be a stereo widener: you can move the apparent origin sound (from the center of btween the speakers towards the speakers itself untill you clearly hear sound coming from two different origins :the speakers.
it's all an illusive effect since the speakers are always in the same position, but if you close your eyes you'd bet the sound moves as described.
do you also know of other synths/fx that allow other kind of spatial positioning: maybe feeling of depth, up/down
bye

that's what stereo enhancers do but what you're talking about is, if i'm not wrong, an unison (a detune between osc's that's is spread in the stereo image, this is what the albino "spread" knob does, vanguard "fat" knob and the korg unison knobs).
for fx you can try Waves S1, Voxengo Stereo Touch (free), PSP StereoPack and more, i go for S1.
you can also do this without an FX by splitting the stereo signal in two, pan one to the left the other to the right and delay one of them slightly (not a delay fx but delay the source a couple of ms so it is a bit out of phase).
PS: when using stereo enhancing switch the output to mono regularly because out of phase sounds can give you problems. |

Yeah check it out in mono to see if you don't loose too much frequencies with inverted phase |
