if you can master good nobody will tell the difference trust me ive seen guys using vaz modular and they made some patches that are really booming and fat
but the filosofy to use 5633254 different vsti its not good because you fall into the trap of having to much and not to make music
learn 3-4 of very good and get the best out of them
me personaly use only pro-53-leads,albino leads & weird stuff,v-station -basses,absynth for pads & textures,i use hardware as well novation & korg
make music not problems
