can someone please inform me on some vst plugin effects like lowpass/highpass filter with midi learn, so that we can use it for live act?

all you need is a controllers keyboard. you set your knob to a certin parameter and you got your self a live act.!

I think you can program anything you want to midi with the sequencer midi learn... |

ok, i'll try. I have midiman oxygen 8, and it only works with some knobs on some vsti/plugins.
I use cubase sx |

You could try the FX-ensembles of Reaktor 4. The "analogic filterbox" has the midi-learn feature. |
