VST instrument gone SPASTIC

Hi everyone when i use massive to i flick through the different presets of different sounds while im in a loop listening to my midi key notes to see witch sound i like best
massive go's spastic like retarded when i hit the stop buttion you can still hear the sounds but it fades away very very slowly some times in dosnt even fade away i was just
wondering is it cause my computer isnt powerfull enough to do this ? cbf explaining what i got but like trust me MAD computer only 2 years old
can anyone help me ? |

could be just a midi hang note. I used to that with all my hardware synths every now and then... it does not mean there is something wrong with the synth it self, but the midi software/hardware in question.
its a wild guess, from the way you describe things...NI software has been known to be very buggy.

Are you fully up to date on Massive? I believe it's now up to 1.1.5 which fixed a lot of things. |

i get that often with rob papen albino and predator. a quick play->pause usually gets rid of it. |

I ve had this kind of issue with a virus ti recently, it spit out some nasty clipping high sine,rising in volume!totally disgusting...
Does anyone know how i can protect my tweeters from such things? |

check this pic, in every left upper corner of the vsts there is a blue button where you can switch the vst on/off...
also in ableton: (left upper corner of the vsts, yellow button)

erm. If purchased, you use the Native Instruments 'Service Center' application and login and it will show you what updates are available and install them.
If you got it some other way... well... time to hunt the newer revision and figure it out  I honestly wouldn't use Massive unless it was the 1.1.5 version. It's a terribly buggy plugin and it's taken forever to get it stable.
