Im doin some kickass experiments with my beloved dj mixer now.

So if you could put some vst fx to use with your djmixer for real time processing, what would you put there?

Interesting, in that case, you're not only limited to VST FX, you can trigger synths and phrases as well (sampler like).

I'll start with simple ones, like reverb, delay, flanger/chorus and see where it goes from there

So why dont u use deckadance and apply any vst or midi while mixing, you can even play some sequences live if u got the skills           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills

yeah right.. try to use ableton to play on turntables :-P
theres no better program than this for that.. You just need 2 serato records and nothing else and it works great.. + it supports vsts and stuff but I dont have time for that in the mix..           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills

Seriously, what's up with all this scratch mixing?
Can anyone mention one psy/goa/trance DJ that is scratch mixing?
Sure Serrato and scratching is cool in the right circumstances but for psy I really fail to see the point.           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

no u missed the point.. deckadance hasnt good latency as serato scratch.. but if u got timecoded records u can spin your tracks on turntables normaly.. This is very important for me since here were I live theres only one shop with trance vinyls so I must play mp3.. This way I dont have to pay for serato since Im not a scratch dj.. And mixing on cds I dont even took into account.. Its like mixing on computer..           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills

So what's the advantage with vinyl emulation if you don't scratch?           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)
