I'm quite interested to hear those snares you say you can put sounding better than VB1 Superglue...can you show us that?

1.why should he show you up what he making with snares.
2.go and look at features of vb-1 and some other bassline vstis , check that all , dont know i found much more optional and rare sounds in tau , tritium,audiorealism,tbl,more.....

you right about how u use it , but once again like superglue said listen to some symphonic basses and you will understand that vb-1 is a toy near those basses.

1 - Why shouldn't he?What is the problem with that???

And yes, you can do very diferent things with bass, but for my purpose, for the type of music I'm aiming on doing, I think I can do just fine with vb1/esm

Im not looking for a totally diferent bassline, Im happy to try and get a "classic" one, it will always have my personal touch.

And, I've already used a lot Tritium and TBL, I used those for about 1 year, they are nice

But what I like about vb1, it may sound weird, but its the CLIP noise it makes in every note, equalized and in the right way sounds reallyyy nice (makes all notes very distinct from each other) I just love it! Anyway, its my personal opinion

But yes, an experienced synth programmer can do that with lots of diferent synths no doubt about it

The question is: Do want you an "real" bass?

limbic - you said you helped him how exactly?

if you use headphones and if you manage to eq it very well - good luck(i dont wanna hear what happens when you compress something - you also hear it on sony heaphones????)

just so you will know when u get natural sample bass you almost dont need to work hard on eq and compression because it sounds good.

VB1 is the most awful ( imo ) bass synth I had the pleasure to meet. Actually I made a new setup for my PC few months ago and didn't really install this.

Ppl, I know why u r so excited about it but try to open yer minds for more tools... Not every track should sound the same... And most of the time VB1 gives a track this Tin Can feeling...

Explore.. The world of electronic sound is so vast...

Save our scene from death by boredom..           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

maybe for limbic it's hard to get there coz in israel we don't have enough classic entertainment but rock for sure

listen to bass and think if it's sound natural or your vsti one

This is not a rock or a classical music forum, its a psy trance forum

You always must say something, even if its 100% off topic...

If I wanted natural sound I wouldn't be making electronic music
