I got this VST plugin but it is a vst 2.0 plugin and my computer doesnt recognise it .
I have cubase vst 32 , does it not support vst 2.0 plugins?????

As far as I know, VST 2.0 are actually VST instruments, and they should be supported by Cubase.
I may be mistaken, though.

your cubase support vst2.0 normally.

which plug doesn t work ? -there are several "noname" plugs which aren t coded properly, and @ some progs they can cause probs.

vst2.0 is the newest standard from steinberg, i.g. you got a soundcard,tool,...that support only vst1.0 it may have some probs with vst2.0.


don t worry, the source 4 the vsti s is free, so each can code his own vst(i)'s.

the vst instrument is ds404 sampler (got it from "computer music" magazine)
in the folder of ds404 there is nothing , but the folder is about 1.4 megabytes so there is something there. i put it in a different computer and there i see ds404.dll so.......
help ........!!!!!!
I have DELTA 44 soundcard , i think it supports vst 2.0 no?!

ure comp. must be set to hide .dll files.
just go to the folder options menu and click the 'show all files'
