I've been trying the demo of this EQ to see if I like it, and I don't know whether what I am experiencing is an error or a feature..
Namely, the fact that the EQ doesn't seem to cut in and start working immediatly. I've put it as an insert effect on my kick, and the first kick is always has a huge 'click' (how it sounded before EQ) then it sounds how I EQ'd it. If I jump to somewhere in the track I will always hear the first kick that plays as the clicky original.
So, there seems to be a delay until this plugin starts working. This also occurs when there is a break in the kicks, so if there is a couple of kicks missing, the first one that plays again will have the click.
Obviously I'm using kicks as an example to the problem, but I would assume it would be the same for any sound.
Does anyone have the full version and can confirm it doesn't do this? This isn't listed as a limitation of the demo. |

It looks like it's some sort of a bug in the demo or something in your system, as it doesn't happen in the full version.
I'm using the full version, and i enjoy every second of it.

try to to set the dynmaics knob to 0. if it dosent help then its either a demo version bug or u have some sort of letancy issue in your sequencer.

yea i had the same issue with the sound on the insert chanell just vanishing for a second or so at irregular intervals .. dunno if its a bug .. i switched to waves req and its been fine scince

Voxengo effects have always worked pretty well for me..I'd suggest EQing the kick as you'd like and bouncing the kick track down as a loop.
If not it sounds to me like either a demo/full version problem or system/user error. Try getting the full version somewhere

A very nice eq. Cant recommend it enough. Has a nice feature where you can overlay the waveform from another channel in the same view. Makes mixing a breeze. Wish it had more than 5 bands, but still... one of the best out there for sure.
Come to think of it, a mate of mine was using it in fruity and he said it cuts in and out occasionally. Certainly seems to be buggy on some systems. |

I've turned the Dynamics to 0 on each control. This seems to work, but what has this done to the sound? Is this a trade off to it working correctly.
FYI I bought the plugin and it still does the same thing.
I can put up with it I guess, it is an excellent EQ. |

the dynamics knob is there to cut or boost the sound dynamicly, that means not to cut hard like eq dose but cut with a ratio like a compressor dose.
when you want your sound to be more stable then turn dynamics to 0.
if the dynamics knob at 0 and it works then your system is not optimized for audio. u have letancy.
try to turn off services that u dont need like system restore and other. check this put http://www.musicxp.net/
check also your sound card letancy.

recently got this one too, couldn't beat the price, the layover from the different eq's in your project is a god send. I havn't had this problem at all though...I'll watch out for it though. |

dynamics in glisseq are sort of a "lfo" on the eq
