Greetings Earthlings, may 2004 be the best year ever!
So let me put in my vote for the best trance party in the world 2003-2004.

this party was at a very beautiful indoor venue, very classy party. Visuals were amazing, the sound was so good the bass made my inner organs rumble so much that I kept thinking I had to take a shit!

The dancefloor had amazing energy, with plenty of space to dance aqnd express ourselves. and towards the end, the wall behind the stage came up to show a beautiful sky and forest in the background, the lights came on, and all of a sudeden it was like an outdoor day party!
Everything was done so professionally, the production level really blew me away. Tip really knows how to throw a good party!
The energy, and the fun every one was having inspired me very much. For me it was the best way to start the new year.
Forget the best trance party, this was THE best new years party in the world!!!!!!!
Anyone go to anything that may have topped
this? I want to hear!

i dont think this could compare but i went to see the rabbit in the moon at the amazura ballroom in queens ny.

There were a bunch of shitty techno, hardcore, and shitty(euro) trance djs, but we were all there to see the rabbits who for those of you not familiar, put on one of the most remarkable live shows in electronica.

It is a complete multi sensory, multi genre affair with audience participation as well. The music is this strange brand of experimental techno but its all about the show. The "bunny" came down suspended by a noose around his neck while these screens were playing this cnn broadcast saying that aliens have taken over. the broadcasters face slowly morphed into an alien and then the music exploded from the decks up on the stage. powerful, sensual, and just strange techno burst out while the bunny, changed his costume probably 6 or 7 times throughout the night. it was trule hypnotic. about a half hour in they gave out these glasses which refracted all white light. so everything looked like a rainbow. it was amazing. then they threw glowsticks to everyone. and the bunny started chainsawing himself. and shooting sparks everywhere while wearing this suit made of christmas lights. it was overwhelming. ppl werent dancing it was too overpowering to do so. we just chanted along with the bunny about various things. i dont really remember much more

but it was a special night.

then i went to an afterparty for vibra who was also playing that night and into the morning danced to some amazing local talent.

a great night for sure
