Hi Guys,

I'm new here, just browsing around, but can throw in my 2c here.

I like using volume automation(alot) but it is a pain cause my volume levels change around alot during the creative process.....soooooo....what I do is put a fruity balance on the mixer channel. then automate ITS volume level.

That way u can do your automation, and no matter how much u mess with the actual volume levels later on it will still have the exact same effect

I use cubase. what is fruity balance? what does it do?

Basically its a plugin for FL that is just a simple pan and volume control.

The idea being to automate a different volume control than either the mixer channel or instrument.
