If you use SX, you need to check out the Generic Remote page in the Device Setup dialog. If you do a search here you should find a couple of descriptions of how to use it; the manual should also be helpful.

I could tell you how to do it in Reason, and although that's not what you're asking, you could always use Rewire to integrate it with the rest of your track...
Say you have two sounds, A and B, and you want the filter on B to move according to the level on A... firstly send A through a Spider audio splitter; one split goes to its original destination and the other split goes to a Scream 4 distortion unit (with the outputs not connected to anything; we don't need to hear this split). Next put the filter of your choice (ECF-42, Maelstrom, Thor) on sound B and connect the Filter CV input to the Auto CV output of the Scream, and use the Auto knob and the CV input level controls to get the filter moving the way you want it.
If you want to do this kind of thing to a sound being generated or played back from SX, you need to export it as an audio file and load it into a sampler in Reason, which then becomes the source of sound B in the description above. With a long sound this will mean you'll have to start playback at the beginning of the sample, which will be annoying, but as far as I know that's the only way to sidechain filter frequency using SX. Cubase 4 (with the new VST3 engine) is starting to bring in dedicated sidechaining though so this may well change as more VST3 plugins are introduced.

No, no, no, not the reason again.. I don't wanna go back.. Even for the rewire purposes.. It took me a while to get off of reason completely and now when I'm done with it theres no way of turning back..
Anyways that stuff with CV in reason should work and its a good thing to know..
The reason why I post this question is cause I know it can be done in FL but in cubase looks unimaginable.. I thought I should wait for cubase 4..
But on the other hand I just have an idea.. Why not to just use sampler in cubase and sidechain some other vst filter plugin to kick? I mean it does the same thing.. It wouldnt use original filers of synth if u use that but if u use a sample than whats the difference? Only problem is vst filter plugin that supports sidechaining.. I have some filters but I doubt they support that..
