I can not believe all this happening in our capital city...realy shame on the authorities
for puting ppls life in danger.
From what i can realise, the void network made a rely nice happening there. So it is totaly unacceptable for the police, trying to fuck up athenian trancers even at free entrance events at the university.
Realy unbeliavable for the mother of "democracy"

i was really enjoying myself until the tear-gas appeared. trying to protect my eyes i left the stage where Boris was playing, but was really amazed to the fact that the f***ing gas was almost everywhere! i had to move really far away from the stages in order to breathe normally..... 
most people where running in panic, trying to find a way out of this mess. but the music was still playing, so i went back at the main stage and was soooo glad to see people dancing as if nothing had happened. THUMBS UP to Boris and to whoever was playing at the chill stage, for not being bothered by the gas at all! 
all in all an adventurous night, but luckily without a bad outcome in the end. but i would also like to know under what excuses did the police throw tear-gas inside Polytechnioupoli... cos i don't think they are allowed to just do whatever they want without a good reason. or are they?.......... 
p.s. and what do you suggest psyqueen? .

How about a letter in newspapers, describing what really happened and not the bullshit that was on the news,ending by demanding an official answer on the government's part..yet, since there is no proof, it would be really useful if someone has any photos or videos.Another idea would be to address radio stations..

Yeah XrTC, same feeling here! Like nothing happened, all the party continued with lots of people, fun and dancing :b
The party was awesome and the (almost) full moon and good weather made it even better. Congrats to the organisers and we hope similar or even better parties like this one ^^ |

hi guys...well the police fucked me yesterday....i almost lost my senses from the tear gas...fortunately my friends looked after me..the only thing i remember leaving the dance stage is that i heard some progressive tunes...was that from Boris set or another stage? |

Well, I wasn't there yesterday, but it is almost clear from what i've heard, that the whole thing was directly connected with the fascist gathering earlier that day, and ofcourse with the conflicts between the police and the anti-fascist organisations. This is a clear example of how much stinky a pig can get.
For some reasons, I was sure that this will happen. Not in this way ofcourse, I just expected the typical "stand-outs" OUTSIDE the area. But fucking tear gas ?
So, congratulations to all the nice pigs out there for letting the people know, finally, who is who. Next time bring along your skinhead freak friends to tell you more.
Apart from the people who MAY have "harmed" you earlier, there were innocent and ignorant people who were just trying to have some fun. FUN. A word extinct from your miserable vocabulary.

I also saw some fascist organisation having a gathering in the centre of Athens without any trouble at all, they gathered , yelled some stupid things and went home...
On the other way the usual "anarchists" destroyed cars and shops, tried to ruin a party and owned the centre like it was their home....
Of course at the end they all went home without any arrests so they can say the story to their friends the next day...

the "harmless " fascists were carrying baseball bats, shields and wore helmets similar to those of the riot police, still the cops did not attack their march (which i guess must have been illegal - if not {and the goverment gave permition for the march} then the situation is even worse than we think...)nor arrest those guys for illegal posetion of weapons.
This unusual treatment of the nazis by the police is what lead the "anarchists" burning the flag which was what initialy started their conflict with the police, which in my opinion symbolized just that , the greek goverment and police authorities not only dont stop these kind of acts but actually endorse it. We are one of the few countries in europe which show this kind of tolerance towards extremist right wing groups, in any other country nazis carrying bats would be themselves carried to hospitals. Even though i dont like what those "anarchist" kids do, what u expect when u see cops doing nothing in front of armed fascists????? (i guess they belong to that category themselves)
Finally i like to add that people were arrested and not everybody went home... |

ok.. and now the truth by an (tear-gased) eye witness..
Exactly at the time me and a friend arrived at the polytexnioupoli gate (from goudi), we saw more than 100 "anarchists" gathered there, lighting up molotofs so we stopped about 20m before the gate. They all starting throwing the "bombs" towards and in the police compounds across the street yelling "BATSOI! GOUROUNIA! DOLOFONOI!!". About 5 minutes later came the first 2 tear-gas bombs behind the fence and towards the poly/poli gate and all "anarchists" run back in university grounds so we decided to move forward pass the ground zero before the cloud started spreading. WRONG MOVE ! there waz confuzion there and we had to go through the cloud actually taking a gas-bath ! we stopped the bike crying our facez off further up the road and thats when we saw the first dimoiria round the corner throwing more tear-gas at the angry stone-throwing mob. a police car blocked the way in from katexaki for a while but that waz forced to leave soon.
We stayed there crying for 10-15 minutes and then went to the main gate from katexaki and got in the party area on foot from there. We stopped crying near the "bar" of the party..
Around 5 in the morning we tryed to leave the party due to tear-gas travelling through the bassy air but the goudi gate was still unaccessible.. we rided around campus looking for an exit and The Force guided us towardz zwgrafou gate where the epistatis showed us the way out..
so i am realy sorry to say this but.. i am with the cops on this.
i dont know what happened earlier that day i just know what i saw.. -----------------------------------------

Apart from the tear gas the party was really nice..not exactly my kind of music  (polu ksulo) i saw many ppl from Sonica fest i was very glad to see so many ppl in this party anyway i dont think tha the cops threw the tear gas against ravers..but unfortunately we had to breath those...and unfortunately i dont think we can do something about it
and one question..just out of curiosity..Electric was up on the stage even whith the tear gas?
Anyway i hope more free party moves like those will happen again soon
