two quickies.
1. to get the effect like cher has in "life after love" do i set the vocoder to eq and automate the shift?
2. so if i set it to eq, or just use an eq in general, and set all the levels to an equal setting will it "eq" the sound or is it just changing the volume?

@talolard: i didn't understand your 2nd question...
But as Input said, the 'cher' effect like it's been called, is not done with a vocoder but with the autotune plugin (or similar tuning programs).
