Ssup,long time no write.
Have this question:I'm doing now track with bluesy influence,so I'm using blues scale and a lor of samples of harmonicas/blues guitar/trombons and whatnot.
The question is : I want to record myself saying (singing actually ) something cheesy "blues style",and I want it to be the same notes as some harmonica sample I have. But I can't hit the note, even if my life were depend on it,worst singer ever.
Is there any vocoder out there,in which I can insert sample,it decodes its notes, and then make my voice fit the same note profile?
Thanks in advance.
From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

melodyne.
maybe theres a free demo version of it.
also u could use autotune. but i dont like the sound of autotune.
additionally the new fruity loops vocoder allows u to assign a certain note to ur voice or sample.
there are sure other, maybe simpler, ways but i dont know them. |

Autotune will do the trick... if you use cubase the pitchshift plugin can autotune your voice and will show you what note are you actually singing in so you can entonate different and hit the tone you are after.
Mild settings won't sound like cher and helps a lot for people like us cursed with no singing skills
If you want to use a vocoder then just modulate using a blue chord / note |
