Vocoder - How to use?

How can i use a vocoder in cubase sx with my audio vocal´s and drum samples ,vocoding with my own synth pads(not having to choose the the pads in some vocoders)someb0ody help?
And how can get those electro vocoded voices? |

Follow the next steps to use the native Cubase´s Vocoder:
1)Open the Vocoder at the audio/midi track u want.
2)Create a Midi Track, and route the vocoder to this track(just choose the vocoder as out).
3)Draw an event at Vocoder Midi, put some notes and voila!

Thanks Sms! i never knewed that you connect the voocoder just like with the midi gate...
now i will probably go voocoder whacko... thanks for explaining...

thanks a lot , but i have a hardware synth and i want the carrier to be my synth , not the few waveforms normal vocoders give ,can you help me again
