I'm playing the game
the one that will take me to my end
I'm waiting for the rain...
to wash who I am

I want to move, to loose, to take the grooves, and to give it all back

I want to take the time rewind, and to kick it right from the start
to be unknown and all alone, lose the kind that are behind
to start a new play by myself and to give the best I have

I'm playing the game
the one that will take me to my end
I'm waiting for the rain
to wash up who I am

Fuck yeah

I prefer no vocals, sometimes it can create a atmosphere if it`s like a choir with some fx on, or some speaking samples twisted abit etc, but when it`s like singing its a no no for me.Feels kinda boring ,like hearing a special synth patch over and over again, i mean after a couple of thousand years the "saw fire 405 " does not sound so good anylonger. The voice singing it kinda overdone to a certain limit. Nothing new or exiting.Sometimes vocal influences can be cool though as said, but not like plain singing.

If i want that i get some sing and songwriter cd or turn on the radio .

If its done well I love it above all. Psykovsky, kindzadza and select project uses it when playing live, and usually in the end of the set. Track like select project - soft airplaine is just genious and think very few artist can do it so it sounds good.

Psykovsky newer stuff has a lot of vocal work.

I feel it adds dynamism if used properly.
He is probably the only one who makes it work !

I am pretty sure it's already against the rules. The reason people do it is because nobody cares. And most likely will continue not caring. I doubt WB's lawyers are concerned with Morpheus' utterings on some unknown producer's obscure full on track.

Who is "We" .. ?
You should write : "Can i still use vocals from movies ?"

This is you and your conscience/Ethics .
The real question is why taking from other's ?

Theres so many good vst's around and alot of quality microphones out there (Cheap ! No money) ppls can buy and do the work ,
This is also an better feeling for you to know that here somthing you have made 100% And not somthing that haz "taken" .

The point is to be creative!
Dance music was build upon sampling!

built upon sampling?

Dance music was around wayyyyy before sampling.

Sampling was and is an important part of dance music before but....to say its 'built' upon sampling is IMO not correct.

I do agree that creativity is much needed though.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

i think early techno and dnb was based in sampling drumloops.anyways i like vocals in tunes but in paytrance they end up cheesy...maybe it's the character of the music that gives that pop feeling in vocals,or that serious producers in psy would never put them cause they make the tunes less psychedelic...

House music and Techno was indeed build upon samples (loops sampled from Vinyl records). And since these two genres are to be found under the overall term "Dance Music" I am 100% correct.           www.beatagency.dk

So before House music and Techno music there was no dance music right?

My distinction was that "dance music" has been around for thousands of years.

People danced before House and Techno. To music even!

If you had said 'House and Techno were built around Sampling and they influenced all the other dance musics, and as such Sampling is a very important aspect of dance music" you would be 100% correct but you did not say that so yeah...you're not 100% correct IMO
