This is just my experience, but yours may vary.
I've heard loads of sample CDs claiming to have great vocals for house/trance/genre-x but mostly they're a bunch of hip dudes and dudettes shouting 'yeah' and 'ooooooh'.
Don't waste your time trying to build a track around a sample. Build a track and then either record someone singing/saying the vocal you want to fit in, or drop them in for effect.
Unless you're very clever, samples limit you to Key, Tempo and style, not to mention 'atmopshere'.
There are no premade vocals that will give you a hit, and if there are, they've been thoroughly exploited months before you found them.
What sort of vocals are you after anyway. I assume as you're in the Psy forum a lot of your vocals will be swiped from television or film anyway. |

Yeah your right the yeahs and ooohs are exactly what i want to avoid. I dont want to build my track around a vocal sample but rather use it as an atmosphere not a lead. Some sort of short haunting melody but not lyrical. |

what kind of vocals? you mean recorded samples of people who sing something like "oh yeah, baby, common lets drink some kokaineee" or just female/male "aaah", "oooh", "uuuh"?

The female/male aaah and ooh, definitly not the other. Want them to be real vocals though not synthesised. |
