Greetings Future Producers !

So I decided to record my own vocals. I have a pretty low voice, so I was wondering on how I could make it sound more fun ? or interesting ? and just the recording itself sounds too empty so I was also wondering what vst's are good for vocal processing to give some depth and other good features .!
Any tips and tricks for vocals will be appreciated !

Thank you !

U can use reverb, some delay, to make it warmer, you can use some stereo imaging, a high pass is necesary, and I use, a really cool plugin from waves, JPP vocals, its really amazing, but if you want to make it more psychedelic, you can always cut it up, or use some filter, or fx, like vocoder, or flanger.

A trick I like to use on low deep voices is add a bit of fuzz distortion.. it gives the overall sound that "Velcro ripping effect", and sounds great

But it depends on what you want to do: do you want a radio speaker voice (nice and deep and full), a alien voice (lots of phasers), something spooky (reverse delays and reverbs)... do you want the effect to be in real time, or composed of heavy post-processing and sample manipulation (like the vowels in Infected's "I wish")?

So much to do, millions of possibilities           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz
