I am trying to extract very small clips, usually a matter of seconds from various movies and such, for VJ purposes. I have tried this with Adobe premier but I'm not doing something right. Would anyone be so kind as to suggest a bit simpler program to use or possibly a walk through for doing this in Premier correctly. Thanks to the Ka-Pow VJs for your friendliness, information and inspiration! |

dont worry premier is the right tool

do you see the timeline?
do you see that redline? you move around the video with that, put it in the frame where you want the video to start...
then you see the blue bar on the timeline? drag its first marquer(the left one) to the redline till it snap on it.
do the same steps to the end frame of your choice, but this time use the right marquer
then when you export to avi, there will be a drop down menu where you choose "work bar area only"
and happy fishing. i also suggest 4 you to join vjforums.com (i hope this is not consider pub)
