if you save some money and live at a backpackers hotell or ryokans cause they are not that expensive and then you can live on noodles...
Japan is not that expensive if you try to check out where to eat first.

I am online again.
Ok Japan yes it is expensive, but not as much as you think it is.
OK parties are very expensive about $45 U.S. dollars. but thats about it.
They have guest houses which are very cheap. also like dopamin said there are places where you can stay for very cheap. you just have to look for them.
Food its the same price as the U.S. except its smaller(waaay smaller). They got cheap food here, if you look hard you can find all you can eat buffets for about $10 US dollars.
But to really enjoy life hear yes you should bring a lot of money!!!

Ya, you're right, it is freakin expensive here.
If my mommy knew how much I spend on the weekends....
It may be expensive, but is also REALLY fun.
And CRAZY!
Getting a job here is definitely a good idea
if you want to stay for a while, though.
Let me know, too, before you come.
As for accomadations, you haven't lived 'til you've slept in a capsule!

Hi ther Asi how are you doing my name is jonathan and I am israely like you.
I made it to Tokyo about four years ago, with no money.
you can get a job in roppongi since you dont have a visa to work in a proper job.
the best thing to do as a forginer in Japan is to read the metropolis it is the paper with all the info that you need to get around in Japan.
the big thing about Japan is not the money that you make is the money that you save it is very easy to spend $200 a day here it is like 200 shekels back home.
