somebody can help me?
and if i want to record this into cubase how can i conect this,i think put the outputs of the virus into the input of my soundcard and then take the outputs of my soundcard and put them on my speakers right?

u are not doing anything wrong... if i'm not mistaken...

i think that he just needs all his DSP-power for the vocoder and doesn't have anything left for the synth itself, so it will stop all sound generation while in vocoder mode (vocoders are very heavy on the dsp-power). Most synths with built-in vocoders work in this way.
