Either it's the Virus, or all of my other synths are out of tune.
When I get some chords or melody going in the project and then call up the Virus to add a layer, playing the same chords sounds severely out of tune. I've checked the global settings to make sure everything is equalized - and it is. So now I'm really lost.
I suppose I could tune the oscillators to the rest of my sounds but no way I want to do this every time I'm auditioning a preset.
Am I missing something here? Checked the Forums and boards and couldn't find much.
How about sending audio from a buss (Cubase) to the TI effects - would you have to use a physical send / return line or should it work through the same USB link that is carrying audio from the synth to the PC? If I can't get the tuning issue solved at least I should use the effects hehe.

| check if master tuning is 440Hz (or 432Hz)
and also check the OSC phase init (0 = free running oscillator)

| not sure about the snow - in virus control ... check the common tab ... there you can setup how many inputs/outputs.
did you flash the TIOS to v3.0.3.00 final yet?? http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject |

I haven't ever experienced this problem, but here's what you can try.
1.) Turn off the Snow and unplug ALL cables from it.
2.) Wait 30 secs.
3.) While holding down the EXIT button, plug the power cable into the Snow. When it says "USB Update Mode" on the screen, you can let go of the button.
4.) Re-install the software suite and follow the instructions it gives you.
Let me know if that works.
Here's another website you can try to for help, by the way.

u need to do it by hand on virus front panel, this option is not in vsti gui. |
