Hello guys, I got a Virus TI Snow, a awesome synth, probably the best way to spend your money if you produce music XD
Anyway I did this topic cause I having trouble to use the Virus TI Snow filters/efects/vocoder. For example: How can I use a filter in a bassline?
I was trying to download the videos tutorial in the access website, but looks like that the link its bugged 
I hope that this topic help other users

Wire Connex, download from the Access website (or P2P software) the Howard Scarr "Programming Analogue Synths" Tutorial. Although it's based on Virus C it is still valid for a Ti.
Also, you must have used the filter if you created a bass sound. |

If you are so smart why dont you try to use you head before judge the others?
Diferent from the other Virus, the virus TI have total intagration, wich means that you dont have to touch the synth with your hands, only the VST.
But I saw in a faq a few hours ago tha the vocoder/filters/effects of the virus TI still the same way of the old virus, realy disappointing that still the same old way.
So if cant use it has a plugin in Logic/cubase/live.

the filter should be in one of the plug-in tabs.
check it out. also the Tutorial Partzi Floch mentioned above is invaluable.
not sure what you mean about the same old way- i'm able to use it fine on mine..

The setup for the virus plugin is a bit weird. You have to make sure you find the folder where the original files get extracted/installed and run the virus setup from there. Once you are done installing it (for what seems like the 2nd time) then you can just load it like any VST and you should get audio and parameter control from within your host.

No need to get upset dude, there's enough info in this thread (and forum) to help
The filter knob will work anyway on the virus hardware. It works alongside with the Virus Control VST, you can tweak it on your screen with your mouse and at any given point, change it more (realtime should you wish) using the hardware knobs. While you're moving knobs, look at the VST interface - the correspondent VST knobs moves too
Anyway, read that Howard Scarr PDF as it explains a lot about synthesis (always a good thing ) and about the way the Virus is built and the signal flow. Think that'll fully answer your question.
